Detachment Presents Certificates of
Recognition to Area Venturing Scouts
The Marine Corps League has always been a strong
supporter of the Scouting Program and through its Award
Certificates
have proudly recognized the Scouting accomplishments of
implemented the Venturing Program for young men and women in
the 14 through 20 year age group.
Through the
efforts of local Keystone Area Council Scouter
and PA MCL Detachment Scouting Coordinator – Tom Minchin –
Certificates of
Recognition were approved to recognize the accomplishment of Venturing Scouts.
On July 31, 2004 an historic entry was be made in the
“Duty Log” of the Marine Corps League and Scouting. Five
area Venturing Scouts were presented
Venturing Certificates of Recognition.
These Scouts will be the first to receive
and Detachment 524 the first to present
these Certificates of Recognition – ANYWHERE!!
